Purpose

The AoC Glossary has two goals:

• provide an explanatory list of terms use in the AoC game and forum;
• be an organizational device to keep (short) articles on all kinds of AoC issues together and to make them found.

The Glossary contains short articles defining or explaining an issue. At all times in-depth articles and commentaries can be written on the same issue. If you do so, then please make sure to avoid double titles. Thus, where an article Races already exists listing the 6 races used in the game, your in-depth article might be called 'Race' or rather, 'Race Comment'.

Subcategories

This Glossary has four subcategories:

• Building
• War
• Magic
• Misc

Adding to the Glossary

The only thing you have to do to add your article to the Glossary or a subcategory of it, is to put the following in the bottom of your article - remember to enclose them in double brackets [[ ]]:

Category:Building //adds to subcategory Building or Category:Glossary //adds to the main Glossary, if your article doesn't fit into one of the subcategories but is still an explanatory article of a term.

(Leave out the //!).

Browsing the Glossary and its subcategories is a sure way for a reader to find your article, so think about it.
