People in the USA already do that. You don't vote for parties, you vote for the president directly. It's not like you vote for democrats and if they win then they decide if they put Obama or Hillary into office.

But if you don't like political parties, how about you move to China :P

This is a 2 party system. To change involves changing the constitution, so no way Kage. Numenor, what you said we don't do is what we do. That is why we must be involved in all elections, like dog catcher, to determine who will be president. Most folks don't know this and vote every 4 years thinking their vote for president counts.
